This shot is from The Love Language show at Cat’s Cradle in January of 2011. The show was amazing for both the music (which included a surprise guest set by Arches of Loaf) and the shots. I particularly liked this backlit shot of Missy with the heart lighting in the background.

The shot is titled Heart to Tell after one of the tracks from The Love Language’s album Libraries. Hailing from Wilmington, the band has strong ties to Raleigh and often plays venues in the Triangle. If you get a chance to see them, they won’t disappoint…and odds are I’ll be in the audience, so come say hi. Look for more shots from this show to be posted soon.
